The Lingo of Color!
 Hue

The quality that distinguishes one color from another (like primary colors).
Black, White and Gray are not on color wheels because they have no hues. Therefore they are neutral colors
 Value
The quality of darkness or lightness in color. The difference between light blue and dark blue. How much light a color reflects is its value.
 Chroma
The quality of brightness or dullness in a color's clarity. Most muted colors are tones which have gray added.
 Tints
Made by adding White
 Shades
Made by adding Black
 Undertone

The temperature of a color. The coolness or warmth of it. Undertone is the color derived from taking five basic hues and adding blue or yellow. Blue undertone colors may be blue-green, or blue-red and warm undertones may be yellow-green or yellow-red.
